LUBM Original Version¶
LUBM is a benchmark to evaluate the performance of triplestores1 with respect to extensional queries over a large data set that commits to a single realistic ontology.
It consists of a university domain ontology, customizable and repeatable synthetic data, a set of test queries, and several performance metrics. 2
Main characteristics:
- it is very popular
- well-know data model and ontology
- supports reasoning
- comes with a data generator
- original queries supplied with LUBM are too simple
agnos.ai has extended the original version of the LUBM benchmark to cover more realistic business-like scenarios. Refer to LUBM Extended Version for more details.
